What to say about Willard. This movie is very creepy and dark, but it also has some deep themes that are universal. Robin Williams is a good actor. Now, before you protest and name all the terrible movies he’s been in, think of the good ones he has played amazing roles for. Patch Adams. Dead Poets Society. Good Will Hunting for God’s sake! This man can be hilarious and creepy beyond all creepiness (see One Hour Photo). But in World’s Greatest Dad, he’s just a melancholy, failed writer trying to be the world’s greatest dad. It is a dark comedy that portrays the reality of being a human kid and being a human father trying to provide support for said human kid… and it’s not easy. I have to be honest, I didn’t want to see this movie when it first came out. Now that I have, I’m glad I did. Wanted may look like just another useless action movie with ridiculous effects, but you, my friend are mistaken if you believe such madness. This action packed, slightly Matrixish movie will keep you locked in and have you guessing until the climax that will bring you much movie justice satisfaction. With a great cast and great action (including curving bullets), you really can’t wrong with Wanted.

It was a long wait of anticipation. This movie was so anticipated, I can’t believe it took so long to come out. The series of comics themselves were amazing and the movie had the potential to be a masterpiece. Don’t get me wrong, I think Hugh Jackman is a great Wolverine… this movie just didn’t do it for me. Even more anticipated was Ryan Reynold’s role as Deadpool. And while he was a perfect fit, and is set to do his own movie as Deadpool, I was slightly disappointed by his part in this movie. Not to say you shouldn’t see this movie, especially if you are a fan. Just keep your expectations low and you’ll enjoy the movie. One very redeeming factor of this movie, as you’ll see, is Liev Schreiber performance as Sabertooth.
