A lot of people don’t like to watch movies directly on their computer. Depending on what type of monitor you have, or if you have your computer set up as a media PC, you might want to watch your downloaded movies on your regular TV.
It’s not hard to burn your downloaded movies to a DVD and watch them on your TV. While most software is pretty self-explanatory, here are 5 tips to help you when your burning downloaded movies to DVD.
1. Use Quality Equipment
This doesn’t mean go spend all your money on some high tech stuff that you can’t afford. You can find good DVD burning equipment at a good price. Just search the Internet for quality DVD burners and DVD discs. It’ll pay off in the end when your burnt DVDs are able to be played on any TV in good quality.
2. Keep Your DVDs Clean
It’s easier to keep files clean than it is to keep actual DVD discs clean. They are, however, just as susceptible to damage as CDs. Be sure to keep them in cases, keep your fingerprints off of where the data is and you’ll be fine.
3. Use the Disc-at-Once Mode
This means the laser never stops during the burning process, which will produce a smoother burn and a more quality DVD. Most software provides this option, so go with it if at all possible.
4. Use Slower Burning Speeds
If you set your DVD burner to burn at a slower speed, you’ll come out with a more quality DVD. Good things come to those who wait, right?
5. One Movie Per DVD
It seems you’d be able to get a lot more info on a DVD, and you might can. But for the sake of the quality of your DVD, I’d stick to one movie per DVD.
It’s awesome to have unlimited movie downloads, but if you don’t like watching them on your PC, fire up the DVD burner and start pumping out some quality DVDs.
